Here are some frequently-asked questions to help you understand more about how your data works with Buzz.

Buzz works by integrating with your property management system (PMS) to sync resident names, balances, contact information, and a lot of other information about your community and residents. Our Smart Assistant uses this information in its messaging and responses.

Question: How does Buzz get information from my property?
​Answer: Buzz has certified integrations with Yardi, Entrata, RealPage/OneSite, and ResMan.

Question: How often does Buzz sync data?
​Answer: Buzz syncs data each hour, not in real-time.

Question: If I post a payment to a resident's ledger, why doesn't the balance change in Buzz?
​Answer: Balances, move in/out activity, etc., will update within an hour to match your PMS.

Question: I know a resident has a phone number in my PMS. Why isn't it in Buzz?
Answer: Our system requires that phone numbers be unique per person. Make sure that phone number isn't already being used by a roommate or other resident.
